Conditions We Treat
-
Shoulder pain is a common condition that can make everyday activities, work, exercise, and even sleep more difficult. Symptoms can range from occasional discomfort during certain movements to persistent pain that limits your ability to lift, reach, or carry objects.
Many people experience pain that worsens at night, making it difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position. Left untreated, shoulder pain can gradually become more severe and begin to interfere with daily life.
Shoulder injuries and conditions can develop from repetitive movements, age-related changes, sports, workplace demands, or a single traumatic event. Because many different conditions can produce similar symptoms, a thorough assessment is essential to identify the underlying cause and create a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

Low back pain is one of the leading reasons people seek physiotherapy and can affect individuals of all ages and activity levels. Whether it develops gradually or begins suddenly after an injury, low back pain can make everyday tasks like walking, sitting, lifting, or working uncomfortable.
Symptoms vary from person to person and may include:
Pain that stays in the lower back or buttocks.
Sharp pain that occurs with certain movements or makes it difficult to stand upright.
Pain, numbness, or tingling that travels into the hip or down the leg, sometimes associated with sciatic nerve irritation.
-
Knee pain is a common condition that can affect people of all ages and activity levels. It may develop gradually over time due to repetitive stress or age-related changes, or it can occur suddenly following a sports injury, fall, or awkward movement. Regardless of how it begins, knee pain can make walking, climbing stairs, exercising, or participating in everyday activities challenging.
The knee is a complex joint, and pain is not always caused by a problem within the knee itself. Weakness, reduced mobility, or poor movement patterns in the hips, ankles, or feet can place additional stress on the knee and contribute to ongoing discomfort.
Common causes of knee pain include:
Meniscus (cartilage) tears
Ligament injuries, including ACL and MCL sprains or tears
Osteoarthritis
Loose cartilage or bone fragments within the joint
Patellofemoral (kneecap) pain
Muscle weakness or movement imbalances affecting the hip, knee, or foot
Joint stiffness and reduced mobility
Excess body weight and reduced physical activity

Neck pain is a common condition that can affect people of all ages and lifestyles. It may develop gradually from poor posture, repetitive movements, or prolonged desk work, or it can occur suddenly following an injury such as a fall, sports injury, or motor vehicle accident. Neck pain can make it difficult to work, drive, sleep, or participate comfortably in everyday activities.
Because the neck works closely with the shoulders, upper back, and nervous system, pain is not always limited to the neck itself. Symptoms may also include stiffness, muscle tension, headaches, or pain, numbness, and tingling that radiate into the shoulder, arm, or hand.
-
Hip pain can affect people at any stage of life and may impact everything from walking and exercising to sleeping and completing everyday activities. Symptoms can develop gradually due to changes in strength, mobility, or joint health, or they may appear suddenly following an injury, fall, or increased physical demand.
The hip is a strong and complex joint that works closely with the lower back, pelvis, and surrounding muscles. Because of this connection, the source of hip pain is not always located directly within the hip joint itself. Issues with movement patterns, muscle strength, flexibility, or nearby structures can all contribute to discomfort.
-
Sports injuries can happen to athletes of all levels, from recreational participants to competitive performers. Whether caused by a sudden impact, awkward movement, overuse, or changes in training demands, injuries can affect your ability to participate in the activities you love and may impact your overall performance.
Sports injuries can involve muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, or bones, and symptoms can vary depending on the type and severity of the injury. While some injuries are immediately noticeable, others may develop gradually with increasing pain, stiffness, or reduced performance over time.
-
Motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries can have a significant impact on your physical health, daily activities, and ability to return to the things you enjoy. Whether your symptoms appear immediately following an accident or develop gradually over time, receiving the right care early can help support recovery and prevent ongoing issues.
Injuries from motor vehicle accidents and workplace incidents can vary widely depending on the circumstances. Symptoms may include pain, stiffness, reduced mobility, headaches, muscle tension, weakness, or difficulty returning to normal activities. Even injuries that initially seem minor can benefit from a thorough assessment and personalized rehabilitation plan.
